The International Summit on SDGs in Africa seeks to step up the continent’s pace and scale of achieving the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals and the African Union’s "Agenda 2063: The Africa We Want" through research, education and engaged scholarship.
The International Summit on the SDGs in Africa 2021 is a three-day, online international event. The Summit is hosted by the University of Cape Town, South Africa, and brings together African and global university networks and other stakeholders with an interest in sustainable development.

The key aim of the International Summit on the SDGs in Africa is to mobilise collaborative efforts that will accelerate African-led activities in support of achieving the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and the African Union's Agenda 2063.
Expect thought leading keynote speakers, provocative leadership insights and robust panel discussions. Prepare for transdisciplinary approaches and ideas that push boundaries. Attendees include leading academics and practitioners from across the globe.
The International Summit on the SDGs in Africa is action- and results-orientated. It is designed for attendees to learn, engage and network, and to identify concrete opportunities for research collaborations that will accelerate the achievement of the SDGs and Agenda 2063.
